See the discussion on Sucatreg caused error in Wintrust.dll - suggestion there was
to rename the c:\Windows\System\Catroot folder, reboot and Windows Me will create
a new Catroot folder. The message Stmgr caused error went away when I did this.
The problem appeared first on a Microsoft critical update of Internet Explorer
