start up options menu everytime

I don't remember when it started or what I may have done to make this happen, but
for a while now every single time I start up the computer, even if it's a regular
shut down last time I was on it, I get the start up menu that says "normal" "safe
mode" something about choosing which drivers to load. It's annoying as heck and I
want it gone. thanks for the help
