Scan disk comes on when starting computer

Could someone tell me why my scan disk starts when I start my computer. Even if it
has been shut down correctly, it just started doing that and I don't know what I
did to make it happen. Also, it is checked to run a thurough check and I did not
set it for that........any suggestions..........
