I've asked this question before but I've searched all day for the previous answer
and can't find it. I think it was Jack who answered before.
Anyway... my daughter's computer appears to be in safe mode but it's not because
it doesn't say "safe mode" in the corners and we have no sound. We reformatted the
drive and now now have the weird screen and no sound. Last time this happened, Jack
told me to download something to install the video card and sound card and gave me
step-by-step instructions to get the computer back the way it was.
Do you know what I'm talking about? Sorry... I don't explain things very well.
