Windows has a option ,which for the life of me I dont understand ,thats says "search
for floppy drive evrytime Windows starts" ,in order for it to stop this action ,you
must remove the check mark from the box and reboot you system ,here are the intructions
to get you to the check box, Right click on My Computer ,on your desktop ,then click
on properties ,then the performance tab ,at the bottom of performance ,it will have
three options the first one being "file system" ,click on that box and another box
will open "file system properties" the second tab of the options along the top ,is
floppy disk ,click on that box and there will be only one thing listed that states
"search for floppy drive each time Windows starts" as I stated earlier remove the
check mark ,and this will stop your floppy from whirling everytime you bootup your
PC ,Good luck !
