Phone feedback on broadband Monday, March 27, 2006 at 1:56 am Windows Me Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by Rik1986 (66 messages posted) Located in the UK I have recently changed over from dial-up internet connection to broadband. There are three telephone socket outlets each having an ADSL filter. My problem is with the handsets which cause feedback earpiece to mouthpiece with a deafening whistle as the handset is replaced or temporarily rested on a surface. The problem is caused by the ADSL filters since no feedback occurs when they are disconnected. If anyone has had a similar problem and knows how to overcome it I would be most grateful.
