MS Word & Power Point taking too long to open Wednesday, March 29, 2006 at 5:03 pm Windows Me Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by Jeffrey Rosen (23 messages posted) All of the sudden both Microsoft Word & Power Point are taking 15 minutes or more just to open. If I click on a letter in word or try to open a blank letter nothing happens, then about 15 minutes later the letter appears. Same thing if I try to open a presentation with power point. If I open a letter using another word processor program it opens normally.
