You usually have to follow the installation directions that come with add on video
adapter cards, the part about disabling the on system board video adapter in BIOS
CMOS Setup. There is usually an option for disabling it directly, or done through
setting its shared memory to Zero. Some of the newer system boards have an option
that allows making the PCI or AGP card the primary display. But again, that is a
BIOS CMOS Setting, nothing to do with Windows Operating System. Windows ME is just
using what hardware the BIOS DMI information (Plug and Play) is telling it is present.
