Remove AVG 7.5 from WinMe system

My friend installed AVG 7.5 on WinMe, before he realized it needed at least Win2000
or better, now, he can't remove it, and has no antivirus program. I haven't got my
hands on his computer yet, but I was wondering if anyone has heard of similar situation.
