Hello Everyone, My friends windowme would not return to Hibernation last time and a screen came up and said "Hibernation has failed would you like to try again or NO, so after clicking "try again" it failed again, so we clicked on NO, but it wiped out the Hibernation on the shutdown menu and also, in the power options, it no where to be found now. We use to just do a system restore and that would bring it back to the shutdown screen. But this time there are NO system restore points to go to. So how can we get Hibernation back into the shutdown? Some one mentioned to me to go into the device manager and remove the ACPI and when it reboots it should replace the Hibernation again, but I am in doubts as to this working. I dont see anything about ACPI doing anything to restore Hibernation, does anyone know if this would work or does anyone know how to get Hibernation back? Thanks
