Steve: After I posted "My printer jams and slips" I
logged on to fixyourownprinter.com with my same
complaint, but added that my jams and slips did not involve paper jams, rather, just
grinding noise
and loud humming sounds. I learned "there", that
my problem could be one of several, "but not" a
disposable one. I cleaned the cartridge "rod", where the cartridges slide back and
forth and found
them to be sooted black from dried ink(cleaned them), and oiled the rod thoroughly.
problem solved, for now. Thanks Steve.
Elmoticky,
Sorry for using this forum for my printer problem.
