Hold down the Ctrl key on startup and select Safe Mode from the DOS menu. Go into Windows Explorer. Look in Windows\Sysbckup I think its the same as Win98. Look for *.cab files and open them with WinZip. You should see System.dat, User.dat, System.ini and Win.ini files in there, just extract System.ini to the Windows folder. Then do a restart.
