Thank you 4 your reply Larry. No the person is not a adult it is my teenager who all of a sudden keeps deleting the history files after he has been on the computer. We have talked about this but he still keeps deleting the files!!! I know all about parental control software but all of the ones I have looked at are very restrictive & I didn't want to go that far as locking him out of the computer! I had parental software installed on our computer from the time he was 7 yrs. old until he got about 13. I thought having a honest discussion with him about the do's & don'ts of using the computer he had learned & would abide by my rules BUT I GUESS NOT!!! So yes I will have to put parental control software back onto our computer! In the future please do not play judge & jury with your sermon about spying on people I think most people who use this site are adults or are very computer savvy & they know all about how to buy software to spy on someone if that's what they are all about! If you are going to take the time to answer someones post we can do without the lecture about morals & right or wrong! I just wanted to know how I could let my son know that if he kept deleting the history files I had a way of checking where he has been. To let him know that don't even think about surfing sites he knows I wouldn't approve of! We have had this open discussion but I guess teenagers will be teenagers & they still try & test the water where they know they don't belong! THANK YOU, RW *****************************************
