To get any help here, you will need to post the following details here:
1. The make and model of your computer. (Should be on a label on the rear of the
computer's casing).
2. The Operating System installed (or believed to be installed).
3. The EXACT WORDING of the error messages you are seeing, in the exact order that
you are seeing them.
When was the computer last in working order?
If no registry is being found, try booting from a start-up floppy disk instead, and
see whether that will at least get you to a DOS prompt (a C:> prompt or an A:> prompt).
If so, try typing DIR C: for a directory listing of the contents of your main C:
drive. And try typing VER to discover what Version of the operating system is really
installed.
I'd guess you've had no replies so far because, frankly, this doesn't sound like
the type of fault you get with Windows ME.
