ComCtl32.dll is a Windows system file (Common Controls Library), in C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM.
You should be running version 5.81.4916.400 if you have Win ME installed.
If there was anything wrong with that file, you'd know it in a BIG way, because it
has functions that affect what a lot of Win ME's displays look like on your screen.
Such a problem tends to be VERY visible.
You can use the SFC (system file checker) tool to extract a replacement file from
.CAB if there is a fault with Comctl32.dll, though you might have to switch to Safe
Mode to do so.
There is no file called COMCTL-32.Dll in the standard Win ME installation, so if
that is really the name of the faulty file it must have been installed by your DVD
software, or by some other program. Try re-installing the DVD player software to
correct the fault.
It might be useful if you specified what DVD software you have installed.
