Hi Penny,
Yes you can. All you need is a working computer with an internet connection, and
one blank 3.5" floppy disk.
Download the bootdisk program onto the computer's desktop, put the floppy disk in
the floppy disk slot, and then run the bootdisk program. It will transform the floppy
disk into a bootable disk.
This process erases anything on the floppy disk, so be sure to use a blank one (or
one that has information you no longer need to keep).
Then just take the floppy disk with you, and use it to start your faulty computer.
