That's worked on a half-dozen Windows Me computers I've come across. There's a problem with running the new version installer as an "upgrade" on Windows Me and there's a lot of discussion about it on the AVG Free forums. I don't know if anyone ever came up with a good solution but this workaround is easy enough. Once installed, version 7.5 works just fine. Written in response to: Windows Me obsolete?
