hi,
thanx for reply. here is what i have done so far. i was able to obtain a winme
startup cd:
after floppy boot and startup cd went through i followed your procedure(s); when
i try to access any windows folders i cannot. i cannot access windows period.
i tried doing an "ext" to bring me to the cabs folder but i keep getting an error
that says "not ready reading drive e:" drive e is an cd/rw drive. drive d:, where
winme startup cd is, is a regular cdrom drive. i checked if e: was ok by trying other
cds and it is ok.
so basically my two problems are not being to access windows at all and drive
e: error. if i can get into windows i think i'll then be able to solve dll problem
as well as explorer.exe error.
