My Network Connections has disappeared after I uninstalled Internet Explorer.

I am an idiot. Yesterday, my internet provider cancelled my fixed IP and DNS at my
request so that I could have a dynamic IP instead. Now I just need to click the box
that says "get IP automatically" or something. The problem is, both My Network Connections
and New Connection Wizard is gone! I suspect this is because I uninstalled Internet
Explorer with a program called Exterminator or something like that a while ago when
I was having a lot of problems with MSIE. I went on to use Firefox, but now when
I need to change my settings, it seems I've exterminated more than I hoped for. I
need to get to my connection settings, either by getting to know the location where
the settings are stored and change them with Notepad if it's possible, or if there's
a third party program that can do what Wizard or My Connections does, or maybe if
there's an easy way to reinstall My Network Connections? I would be thankful if anyone
could help me.
