Would you please explain what the phrase "(no go-"explorer.exe, must restart windows...") 
means, as I don't understand it.

Please give the EXACT WORDING of every error message you are seeing. 

Also, please clarify where you obtained your start up floppy disk from, and which 
version you are using. It is ESSENTIAL that you boot the system with a Windows ME 
startup disk only.

Any other type of boot disk will cause the suggested solution to fail, because of 
operating system incompatibilities. A Win98 or DOS boot disk will cause this failure.
