I have a older HP Pavilion computer that when I bought it back in 2001 that was fast enough then and today still is fairly fast but I do notice it does take some applications to just take to long completing etc etc. It's mainly used now as a back up system, ny question is if I added more memory will that actually give me any significant speed increase that will make it worth the effort and is it worth the expense..memory I have seen to upgrade really doesn't seem that expensive to me or does some one have a reference to get quality memory chips at a good price. Will more memory help with some problems like browser hanging up sometimes loading certain pages that are content rich etc etc
