It shouldn't be necessary to go to an alternative website to d/l ME updates. In fact, 
are 9x updates even available on that site?

There may be a page on M$ site that lists all previous ME updates, so you can d/l 
and burn to CD. I s'pose some detective work would get you there. The page for 98 
still up. 

However, Jack Gulley's website has a list, with links, to ME updates... Windows ME
