If it started doing it after the memory upgrade I would suspect the new memory may be the culprit. I had a issue with my daughters laptop that was similar and as soon as I removed the new memory all was well. Crucial replaced the defective memory for free. Also make sure the memory is seated good in the slot. Good luck!!
