Just wondering if anyone can HELP!!! Last night I downloaded the driver from the Canon web site, for the printer I had got, it loaded but it could not still work. When I turn on my pc now it would come up with Windows Me then shows my wallpaper in what I think is 32bit and large. It then tells me there is a new hardware found and looking for the correct driver. After this another box comes up with 'Add New Hardware wizard' I have automatic seach for a better driver and all it searches is the A: drive and I've also gone into specify the location and found and tryed to search my CD-Rom drive but it wont ( I have the Canon Driver CD in there) and I have Specify where to look as well (Drv98m) when you click next, then it comes up with 'Windows was unable to locate the software, if you dont wanna install the software click finish. When I do this a small box comes up SURegcreaterey failed!!! when you click 'ok' all I get is the wallpaper still at 32bit... When I Ctrl Alt and delete I get Cmdninst.... and thats all. I've tryed going into safe mode but all what happens it would jump to the last bit and thats all....... Thank you if anyone could help!!!!
