What version of Windows Media Player are you using? Go into Program Files\Windows Media Player and right-click on wmplayer.exe and select Properties and look what it says on the version tab. Mine is 9.00.00.2980. I've just been on to Youtube and the videos on there use Adobe Flash Player. It will depend on what flash you are using. Go into Windows\System\Macromed\Flash and find the names of the ocx files listed in there.
