Most everyone on this forum has their own personal favorite software firewall that
they swear is the "best". Mine is ZoneAlarm. I've tried most of the others too but
have stuck with ZA over many years. The newest versions of ZA work only with Win2K
or XP, but the older releases that are Win9X compatible can be found at oldversion.com.
Scroll down to find ZA at the bottom left. The last release that supports Win9X is
6.1.744 but the release before (6.0) is fine too.
