Spyware Doctor?

My poor old machine is running badly. Someone suggested I try Spyware Doctor to fix
things up. After waiting for 2 hours to download this (I'm on a dial up) I tried
to install it and am told the installer requires Windows 2000 or higher. I thought
Windows ME was higher than 2000. Can anyone help me keep this old machine going?
