no bios Monday, July 30, 2007 at 3:25 pm Windows Me Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by joe (1 messages posted) have a old compaq aramda lap top it came with windows 98 updated to ME. unknown at the time ,the bios were on the hard drive . so now i can not reformat to reinstall a new O.S. have a softpaq with bios. but can not install new bios will only install on front of hard drive. am i just out luck. and need a new hard drive, or what?
