I did a aol quick fix in an attempt to repair browser errors & cut offs. Get message IE6 can't be repaired to reinstall. I searched & went to MS, clicked download, in less than 15 seconds (?) it says done. I don't think anything is "done". I still have the same problems and also read somewhere that it takes 21 minutes to reinstall IE6. I went to the setup icon in my Computer folder (that's where I put it?) & hit resume setup but got message that items were missing (whatever that means)? Do I need to uninstall the version I now have first before trying to install a new copy or is the reinstall supposed to overwrite the defective copy I apparently have? When I go to add/remove programs I see 2 things: One says Internet Explorer Q916281 and the other says Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.SP1 & Internet Tools Is that right? Should there be 2 things about IE? Forgive me but computers are Greek to me.
