I seem to have picked up Malwarealarm and when I searched here for help I got two
links, XosftSpySE, which appeared to be a free application until after downloading
and running a scan that found 14 severe to low threat items. Then I learn that I
would have to pay $39.00 to continue with the removal of all these threats. The
other link is for Spyhunter, but before I download it and run a scan I would like
to know if anyone here has tried it(is it going to also find several real baddies
and then tell me it will cost to remove them). I'm not adverse to paying for useful
software, and have many times to date but I like to be informed up front, I feel
I was misled by the XoftSpySE site info and it looks a lot like it might be the same
kind of thing going on at Spyhunter.
