Hey guys, Major headache here... Trying to install a brand new SupraMax LE 56k modem for someone and it's just not happening. The first time I put the modem in the machine it found it and installed it, but it was not working correctly. I attempted to remove all modems and try again. I went into safe mode and removed all modems and modem software that I saw. The next time I tried to boot ME I get this message when it tries to go into windows... Cmdninst An error has occurred in your program. To keep working anyway, click Ignore and save your work in a new file. To quit this program, click Close. You will lose information you entered since your last Save. If I click close it says Cmdninst has caused an error in SETUPX.DLL Cmdninst will now close. If you continue to experience problems, try restarting your computer. So anyway, if I click close or ignore, I still can't get into Windows. It doesn't matter if I take the modem out and have everything cleaned out again. Once I boot up and it tries to install that modem, it happens all over again. I can't get out of this loop. I know there has to be something there that keeps trying to install. Any ideas as to how to finally get this thing working? Thanks, mtaffer
