Trend chipaway Wednesday, September 26, 2007 at 9:53 am Windows Me Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by Ruth Riddle (4 messages posted) I have a AMD Athlon (TM) 900 Mhz Award Plug & Play BIOS Extension v1.0A I am unable to boot up my system. It will only boot up to the one screen that gives the above information. At the bottom it says key Del to enter setup or esc to skip memory test. When I tried Del it brought up another line in bright white letters: Trend ChipAwayVirus (R) on Guard Ver 1.64 Would there be a virus that disabled the computer? I have tried the startup disk and the Systemax Recovery CD-ROM. Nothing works. I am unable to enter the computer to reformat or repair in anyway. Thank you very much for any help you can provide.
