The computer belongs to my brother. I have reformated and replaced the signal cable
for the hard drive and floppy drive on this computer before. I am not real up on
computers but have done some maintenance on this one and my own. I do not know what
caused this one to crash. When I turn it on it comes up with the page with the
info I gave before. If I insert a startup disk or a CD it will not come up at all.
I am going to replace the floppy disk cable again and see if that is it. The light
does not work on the floppy disk. They work on the CD burner and the DVD-Rom when
I turn on the computer. It may be beyond repair, at least by me. Thank you for
