I've been using OE5 and 6 for may years and I've never had a major problem with it. The only annoying thing I have with OE is after I install IE6.0 SP1 and I open OE I can't see my mail folders. I have to click on them to see them. This never happened with OE5 or 6 but everything functions as it should. Which version of Internet Explorer are you using, IE6.0 SP1? If its not SP1 then you can download SP1 from Microsoft do a search. When your computer starts up is the clock set to the correct date and time? If not then you need to replace the CMOS battery on the motherboard.
