No, havent solved my problem yet, and unfortunately i probably never will.
i deleted two very important files as recent as early in september, and i need them
both back badly, they were helping me with some work im doing and i also need these
files to help as file extensions, the program im using now is not acceptable as a
file extension.
and thats why i needed to use my system restore, which basically will not work. also,
i disabled it, not realising that would lose any previous restore points, so im basically
stuck with not being able to use the system restore and no prior restore points.
anyway, thank you for your response and concerns, but, ed, i honestly dont think
there's anything anyone can do to help me. my old windows me program is a lost cause
(no help and support or upgrades makes it equally difficult, no cd with the windows
me program to reinstall doesnt help either).
anyway, ty again.
