If it is not installed then it can't be used. The Messenger Icon in System tray may
just be a leftover from a past install. If Messenger does still open, then you could
reinstall it to repair the Uninstall function, or remove it manually, by deleting
the Messenger Folder in the Program Folder, any shortcuts left in program Menu, and
manually editing the registry of any Messenger remnants.
