re: wordpad error message Thursday, November 15, 2007 at 8:11 am Windows Me Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by Ed (741 messages posted) Create a blank text file (using a TEXT EDITOR, not a word processor program) and name the file WORDPAD.REG then copy and paste the following text (the text I have highlighted in boldface) into it. You MUST then create one extra blank (empty) line at the end of the file. Then save the file on your desktop, right-click the file, and select MERGE. Make sure you backup your Registry before making this change to it!
