But he hasn't really given us the exact info we need. Is it an ME to Win2k upgrade 
or a full version of Win2k.

|If he has ME installation CD, that qualifies for 2K. 

Whether he does or doesn't have the ME CD he can't do an upgrade to Win2k from an 
upgrade CD without ME or a lower OS already installed.
