I simply meant that you may carry out my suggestion by using any text editor, not
just notepad.
You might try downloading and installing a program called Superpad (a replacement
for notepad), or any of about a million freeware text editors you can find on the
internet.

If you are using Win ME then your computer already contains Notepad (C:\WINDOWS\NOTEPAD.EXE)
as well as Wordpad (C:\PROGRAM FILES\ACCESSORIES\WORDPAD.EXE).
