Keith,
I appreciate your response but I note in my post that Internet Options was of
no help. Everytime I would enter my homepage choice in options, and then opened Explorer,
IE would ONLY open a signup wizard for MSN internet service. This is how it was when
I purchased my machine and was setup this way originally. There is a way, I just
don't remember how I got IE to act as a web browser instead of an advertising weapon.
I believe once I signed up for the dialup MSN service, then IE behaved properly.
I then canceled the service and chose AOL at the time. I can't try this ploy because
I an using cable (Comcast) and don't use a dialup connection. Any ideas are welcome.
Emails to MSN support hasn't helped one bit. I remain frustrated in Pa.
