If you want to install vista you'll need at least 1GB RAM for it to run ok. How big
is hard drive - because vista uses a lot more than xp (say c. 10GB rather than 1.5Gb
on first install) and uses it up at a faster rate (its system restore for example
is more sophisticated and space hungry).

I don't understand this comment! 128MB RAM is very low to run XP (XP won't run well,
but it should load). Are you sure the machine is viable?
I keep saying XP - but this is ME forum, so presume 8100 is running ME. comments
still apply - ME needs less resources than XP, so 'gap' to Vista is even bigger.
Honestly, if you want Vista, you would be better getting a new machine to run it
on. But why you would want vista? (compatibility issues, resource hog comparatively,
offers nothing significant over XP to 99.99% of users).
