Well if it says nothing next to Update Versions then as CK says you are running the 
basic IE6.

I've been using IE6 for about 3 years now. I get the occasional blip when it crashes 
and wants to send a report to M$. In fact there is one site that I used very regularly 
and every time I go to it crashes and wants to send a report. All the hundreds of 
other sites I visit don't do that. When I use this site at work there's no problem 
but at home it crashes.

When I was using IE5.5 I never had any glitches.

IE6, 
|but most either had problems immediately after |upgrading to IE6 or shortly thereafter.

Well mine is an old computer Win98SE, 550Mhz with 520Mb Ram and IE6 appears to install 
an run ok apart from the glitch above.

Well every months M$ send me an update link. I know they don't support Win9x/ME any 
more but if your running IE6 then it will tell you to install SP1. It will tell you 
a load more security updates for other products you have like.

It depends if you're using Broadband or dialup Donna.

Just click on Scan for updates. This is what is says I need.

I rebuilt my machine last Christmas so I haven't put these updates in. I downloaded 
them a couple of years ago and burnt then to a CD.
