Thanks for the reply. After several attempts, I finally was able to install the bare minimum apps to get the printer working. You're right about retiring ME, but it's a shame that Microsoft has forced this ONLY alternative on everyone. Overall, my computer runs fine and does everything I need it to do. Going out and getting a new computer or OS is only going to be because I was forced to do so by Microsoft, and not because I simply wanted to. Just a way for them to make people give them money. I'm thinking about saving up and just getting an Apple. Seriously though, thanks again.
