network password Saturday, April 5, 2008 at 4:54 pm Windows Me Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by B Hatfield (5 messages posted) Have set up a home wireless network, with a Dell Vista desktop tied to a Linksys wireless router and a clone ME desktop connected via a USB wireless adapter. Both can access the internet. The vista machine can see the ME files. The ME machine can see the Vista computer name (say desktop-pc), when I try to access it, it asks for a network password (\\desktop-pc\IPC$). As none has been knowingly set up, where do I go next?
