Hi Kenny.

I could have sworn I answered this question yesterday.

Well there is nothing difficult to understand about cookies or temp internet files.

What are cookies?
A "cookie" is a small piece of information sent by a web server to store on a web
browser so it can later be read back from that browser. This is useful for having
the browser remember some specific information.

What are they used for?
An example is when a browser stores your passwords and user ID's. They are also used
to store preferences of start pages, both Microsoft and Netscape use cookies to create
personal start pages.

If you use a lot of forums, I use 50 different ones then certain cookies are worth
keeping because they contain usernames and passwords to save you remembering them
everytime you use that site.

Temporary Internet Files these are used to save info on a page you have visited.
Every little picture of that web page is stored in Temporary Internet Files. It just
makes access a lot quicker if you go back to that site.

Now there are ways you can remove both the cookies and Temporary Internet Files.
The first option is to use Control Panel, Internet Options. There is a button to
remove Temporary Internet Files and one for Cookies.

The other option which I would recommend is to download and use CCleaner.
What this does is remove all your waste files of your drive. If you do use certain
sites that need a username and password which are stored in cookies. You can select
to save these cookies but delete all the others. You can do all sorts of cleaning
with this app.

They also have a Forum
where you ask question or search for problems. CCleaner is also free but can donate
through PayPal if you want to, but its not compulsary.

There also make Recuva which is an excellent too if you accidentally deleted
a file of any drive.

Check them out and give them a try.
