Ok then will it run in Safe Mode? If it does then you still have crap running in the background. When your comp starts up and you can only see your desktop do a Ctrl+Alt+Del and write down every file that it lists. I dare bet you will have 8 or 10 items in the Task Manager list. Actually you only need 2 for Windows to operate, Explorer and Systray. Thats what happens when you startup in Safe Mode, only the basics run.
