To go on, yes Xp is a very good OS, and yes some had problems with ME, me included. And no, ME does not have the driver data base that Xp has. But, in all honesty, it was a good OS, not as good as today of course, time marches on. But the bottom line is, the more drivers the more bloated the system becomes. I would not want to go back to DOS 3.1 but it was fun while it lasted. It seems to me that we have hit the glass ceiling on operating systems. Sort of like cars, the new ones are neat but they still use wheels to get around. I wish something really new would happen in the computer world to make me lust for it like I once lusted for Windows ME. Written in response to: Wait a sec...
