The product website says that WinMe is not supported, and when you try to run a scan,
you get a message that "HouseCall is not available for your platform" and "your processor
type or your operating system are not supported."
ClamWin is slow but has a good detection rate. The downloads are rather large for
dial-up, but it does work. You can't count on anything continuing for Windows Me,
so suggest you don't waste time. If you have limited disk space, you can run the
portable version from a CD or USB stick.

Other possible options are regular backups, an old firewall without extra features,
Spybot Search and Destory, McAfee Stinger, and old versions of Win Patrol and Spyware
Blaster.
