I bought a genuine WinME CD last year for £15. Or better still Win98SE. Then with all those virus's on there it would be better to format the drive and do a fresh install. The think you will have to watch is the additional hardware drivers e.g. sound card, graphics card, printer, scanner, modem etc or what ever. You can download these from DriverGuide and a Boot Disk I don't know the spec of the machine but you could consider upgrading to a newer OS but if its old and low on memory I wouldn't bother.
