Boot to a DOS prompt using the Windows ME Emergency Boot Disk. 2. Then delete the corrupt Recycle bin, by executing the following commands in the following order at the DOS prompt - C:\WINDOWS\COMMAND\ATTRIB.EXE -S -H C:\RECYCLED Deltree /y c:\recycled 3. Then restart the computer normally. Windows will recreate the Recycle bin during start-up.
